There comes a time in life when you are ready to engage in something bigger, something more fulfilling than the daily grind and way of life. Many of us find ourselves searching for personal growth by way of enhanced spirituality.
We can help you explore spirituality in depth to determine where it fits in your life. This is the power of a Spiritual Life Coach.
What is Spirituality?
If you ask a dozen people how they define spirituality, you might get a dozen different answers. When we speak of spirituality here at Tommy Landry Life Coaching, we define it as follows:
Spirituality is a sense of connection to something bigger, perhaps even to everything in existence. With it comes a sense of interconnectedness, of being alive and reveling in the present moment of truth. Many people find that, through spirituality, they are able to truly understand their own identity, including what is and is not at the core of whom they are.
In the end, spirituality is about coming to terms with who you are, what your life purpose is, and how you are connected to everything that exists and has ever existed. Mastering spirituality has been said to result in inner peace, and we have seen it do just such a thing for many who explore it.
How is Spirituality Different Than Religion?
Some people are able to find spirituality through the teachings of a major world religion. While there can certainly be synchronicities between the two, spirituality and religion are completely different entities.
Religion is more about following beliefs that are prebuilt. It is about adopting traditions and practices within a structure that has been proven over many years.
So at it’s most basic level, spirituality is about “being,” while religion is about “believing.” Both can coexist, but each can occur with or without the presence of the other.
Why a Spiritual Life Coach
Changing one’s mindset to focus on the present moment can be a huge challenge. Our society is built to reward intense thinking, emotional reaction, and a general state of “busy.” In other words, it is intensely ego-driven.
Spirituality requires the ability to operate on a completely different plane to those sociological activities. A Spiritual Life Coach can help you explore your own spirituality through analysis of thoughts and emotions, priorities, and perspectives.
When you are ready to change your life for the better, don’t hesitate to contact us to set up your initial consultation session. We look forward to helping guide you on your spiritual journey.
